The Lenders One cooperative was established in 2000 as a national alliance of independent mortgage bankers. Today, we’re one of the largest mortgage co-ops in the country with a diverse mix of 230+ member companies. These businesses cover the entire lending spectrum — from banks, credit unions, independent mortgage banks and real estate/builder-affiliated firms — and they originate between $50 million to $12 billion per year.

Brian leads Lenders One as President and is focused on defining and executing the overall strategic direction of the cooperative. Brian delivers unique value to members through new benefits, innovative solutions and opportunities to connect. With over 20 years of mortgage experience, Brian has held many C-level leadership positions at some of the largest independent mortgage banks in the industry, including Chief Operating Officer of New Penn Financial (now known as NewRez), Chief Executive Officer of Caliber Funding LLC (now Caliber Home Loans, Inc.) and Chief Operating Officer of Freedom Mortgage. Brian has been a long time member of both the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Lender Advisory Boards, and has been voted one of the top one hundred mortgage banking executives in the industry.
Lauren oversees member programs for the co-op and is focused on delivering compelling and valuable solutions to the membership. She has more than a decade of experience in professional services with a focus on understanding and improving customer experiences. Lauren most recently led the marketing strategy for Altisource’s mortgage originations businesses, including Lenders One. Prior to that, she was Principal Consultant at High Start Group where she advised a variety of financial institutions.
Jon leads the overall sales efforts of the co-op as National Sales Manager focused on delivering unique value to members through new benefits, innovative solutions and opportunities to connect. Jon has over 20 years of sales and management experience in the industry, starting his career in mortgage origination. Prior to joining Altisource in 2013, Jon served in senior management roles with various firms including Aurora Bank, First American and Citi. Jon holds the Certified Mortgage Banker designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.
Steve is responsible for the feature definition and roadmap of our existing and future product suite critical to member needs, including L1 eClosing, L1 M&A Connector and L1 Talent. Steve additionally manages the L1 platform of solutions providers driving efficiency and support at every stage of the mortgage cycle. Steve has 20 years of mortgage and financial services experience at organizations which include First American and Equifax.
